Peter Jederman is the founder of the Medallic Mint. In 1978, his project was a medallion for the world-champion boxer, Muhammad Ali. Shown here presenting the 24K solid gold medallion at the New Orleans Hilton in September 1978.

Fast forward to 2009, Peter now runs the Medallic Mint with international-scale projects in the works.

Personally chosen by Countries and Causes worldwide. The Royal Family of England and the noted Artist Marc Chagall both picked Larry Coburn as their Mint master of choice. 

Lawrence Coburn - Mint Master, is reconized as one of the finest numismatic artists in the minting industry. In 1978 he received international acclaim when commissioned by the Royal Family of England to create the Official Silver Anniversary Medal.



The United States Marshals Service (USMS) is a United States Federal Law Enforcement Agency within the United States Department of Justice and is the oldest federal law enforcement agency in the United States.

Louie T. McKinney – Vice President of Marketing, The Medallic Mint Corporation, Annapolis, Maryland

Louie T. McKinney was appointed as the Acting Director of United States Marshals Service on February 9, 2001. Just prior to his selectionas Director, McKinney was serving as the Acting Deputy Director and Special Assistant to the Director of the U.S. Marshals Service. McKinney joined the U.S. Marshals Service as a Deputy U.S. Marshal in 1968 and is the first person in the history of the U.S. Marshals to rise through the ranks from Deputy Marshal to Acting Director.

He further served in several leadership capacities including Chief Inspector for Interpol and Deputy Chief of Witness Security. Additionally, he was twice appointed by the Attorney General of the United States to be the United States Marshal for the Virgin Islands. At the time of his retirement in 1994, he was Chief of the Enforcement Division for the Marshals Service headquarters, responsible for numerous fugitive investigations and initiatives. A three-time Presidential Appointee, Mr. McKinney has served in various other law enforcement capacities including FBI Consultant and Special Agent with the CIA.

Mr. McKinney’s prior experience also includes seven years in the United States Navy, five years as an officer with the Metropolitan Police Department in the District of Columbia, and two years with the Central Intelligence Agency. He attended the University of Maryland where he received a degree in Police Administration.

With more than 40 years of service to his country, McKinney has received numerous awards and citations, including several from the Attorney General and the White House.

Louie McKinney resides with his wife, Judy, in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. They have two children.
